Class field trips are an integral part of our curriculum and another avenue for extending learning beyond the classroom. We offer both onsite field trips (where the trip comes to The Little School – an option particularly well-suited for our 3 year old students) and for our 4 and 5 years old, offsite field trips where we travel by class via bus. Below is a sampling of some of the Little School’s annual trips:
- Apple Picking and Cider Making
- Area Children’s Museums
- Greenburgh Nature Center
- Local theater productions
- Weinberg Nature Center
- Scarsdale Fire Department
Parents are always welcome and we encourage parents to let their child/children’s teacher know they would like to join in a field trip.
